In the life of Derk Sauer, citizen of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and born on October 31, 1952, there are a lot of mysterious and confused.
For instance, all Russian business media always spelled his name as Сауэр, using the Russian letter ‘э’. Derk Sauer (Сауэр) died, RBC; ‘The founder of ‘The Independent Media’ Derk Sauer (Сауэр), ‘Vedomosti’; ‘In memory of Derk Sauer (Сауэр), Forbes.ru; ‘What is the media manager Derk Sauer (Сауэр) is known for’, ‘Kommensant’.
And in fact, in numerous Russian registration documents his name was spelled in Russian as ‘Сауер’, that is with ‘е’. For instance, in the Unified State Registry of Legal Entities it is said that Derk Eric Sauer (Сауер) is itemized as the general director of the LLC ‘MV Moscow Times’, born 31.10.1952, Taxpayer Identification Number (INN) 771595106905.
And the problem, believe me, is not connected with mistakes of low level public servant. Because in other state registry and report documents, connected with the same ‘Independent Media’ is mentioned the citizen Derk Sauer (Сауэр), but, pay attention!, born October 12, 1958, and legalized with a different Taxpayer Identification Number (INN) – 773800151350.
You could ask: which of these two Derk Sauers died? Only Derk Sauer, 73 years old, born 1952, died, and the second one existed only on paper… But first things first.
PREMORTEM MANIFESTO OF A SEPARATIST
Just a month before the death of Derk Sauer, on June 30, 2025, the media outlet ‘The Moscow Times’ ** published on its website an excessively larger for a newspaper format (32 thousand printed characters or four newspaper pages of the format A3) an article entitled ‘Confederation Muscovy: What will rest of Russia”. Perhaps, for the first time in history of journalism a rather prominent Western media outlet published a detailed plan of physical, spiritual and territorial elimination of Russia.
The authors of this article, an Aaron Lea and a Borukh Taskin, as ‘The Moscow Times’ points out, ‘have already published a forecast of Russia’s disintegration, its dissolution into several parts, with the vitality of each of them provided by bordering states.. Such an approach, obviously, does not presuppose either existence of Russia or Putin’. According to the conviction of these dismembers Aaron and Borukh, Russia will face ‘such a violent decomposition as early as in 2027 – 2030.
The edition of The Moscow Times devoted to the 20th anniversary of the first publication of the newspaper (15.05.2012) and the article ‘Confederation Muscovy… (30.06.2025)
With a bluntness of drunken butchers, they are carving Russia, as if preparing a crib notes on beef: what to choose and what to cook’. They are literally painting a picture where ‘it is shown extremely graphically what to cook from each part of the carcasses and they recommend to lovers of skewer made of human flesh ‘to print out this scheme and take it with while going to by meat’.
‘Thus, writes ‘The Moscow Times’ in its ‘crib notes’, ‘the Tyumen, Khanty-Mansi, Yamal-Nenets regions rich in hydrocarbons, will form a country under protectorate of the UN, similar to the UAE, for rightful management of their natural wealth in the interest of whole Eurasia.
North Caucasus will be rearranged by 2-3 powerful players, most probably, by Turkey and Azerbaijan.
Tatarstan and Bashkortostan, and, probably, Orenburg Oblast, (if it will not move towards Kazakhstan) … will create an autonomous confederation and will distance themselves from the Kremlin.
The Russian part of the Arctic region will become a status of a special protectorate of the United Nations and will be transferred under international management of the seven Arctic states.
Yakutia, rich in diamonds and natural gas, as well as Buryatia, custodian of the whole Mendeleyev’s periodic table, will reorient themselves towards China.
Karelia, which, until Finland deferred it in 1940, had been always Finnish, will reunite with it and will take back the town Byborg, and, perhaps, the Komi Republic will also ask to become part of it.
Kaliningrad will become Konigsberg or Korolevec and it will ask to be part of the Federal Republic of Germany or Poland.
Murmansk and Archangel Oblasts, and, possibly, Nenets Autonomous Region, will become protectorate from the part of Norway and Great Britain.
Ukraine will get under its control Kursk, Belgorod and, perhaps, Bryansk, as well as part of Don Basin in Rostov and Voronezh Oblasts.
The Ural Republic will emerge (Sverdlovsk, Perm and Chelyabinsk Oblasts) as well as Kazak Republic (the rest of the Rostov and Voronezh Oblasts, Krasnodar and Stavropol Regions).
Adjacent to Lake Baikal regions, Far East and seaside Primorye (or Primorski Krai) will form a separate entity as the result of ethnical and economic self-determination or will become protectorate from the part of China.
And the Central Russia, most part of the Volga and North-West Federal Regions, will create a Confederation Muscovy (further on CM) – a democratic, non-imperial entity consisting of 30+ regions of 1.5 million square meters and population of about 50-60 million, comparable in its size and ambitions to Spain, Columbia and South African Republic.
Russia in dreams of separatists from ‘The Moscow Times’. A crib note as to carving of Russia for Western butchers
Having described by such a way parts of cleaved Russia, the authors of ‘The Moscow Times’, with abandon typical for clinical idiots, started to construct with these stumps new ‘identities’, ‘territorial orders’, ‘protectorates and ‘decentralizations’; to ‘desacralize the empire’, ‘diversify agriculture’ of the towns Saratov and Volgograd with regard to ‘coffee, flowers, bananas and cacao beans’. ‘To integrate into the European Union, consolidating the non-imperial identity of the CM. ‘The CM will not be a successor of the Russian Federation, neither juridical, nor ideological, nor mentally, they will not take responsibility for Kremlins’ crimes, they will not celebrate a particular ‘victory’ in the World War II.
The purpose of the Western butcher is as follows: ‘Muscovy must begin its history with a complete military emptiness, with a total disarmament vis-à-vis its neighbors. And, perhaps, it’s just in this emptiness that there will the first chance for a real peace in Europe’.
DERK SAUER LAUNCHED ‘THE MOSCOW TIMES’ NEWSPAPER WITH KHODORKOVSKY’S MONEY
We would like to particularly point out that, up until now, the theme of artificial dismemberment of Russia has been taboo for the Western press and it has been under a strict ban. The reasons of that perfectly understood also the authors of the ‘Moscow Times’ who called directly for the World War III. ‘…The same fears, one for one, are paralyzing today the will of the West when there is talk about disintegration of Russia. Perhaps, it’s time to stop starry-eyed dreams about a possibility of the last territorial empire’s exciting itself without crumbling of the rest of the world. Once it worked, and it will work for the second time
‘The Moscow Times’ was created by the 40 years old Dutch citizen Derk Eric Sauer in 1992, and initially it was published in a format of a daily newspaper. Until 2015, the newspaper was part of a group of business publications of the publishing house Independent Media Sanoma Magazine which also was publishing the newspaper ‘Vedomosti’, magazines ‘Harvard Business Review’, ‘National Geographic’, ‘Robb Report’, ‘Esquire’ and others.
‘The media-tycoon Derk Sauer founded in Russia more than 40 publications, among them ‘The Moscow Times’, ‘Cosmopolitan’ and ‘Vedomosti’ – Russian and foreign mass media, talking over each other, wrote about him in the 2000s. For a certain period of time, he was part of the five ‘most influential media-managers of the post-Soviet Russia (according to the magazine ‘Kariera’ and the weekly ‘Novyi Vzglyad’).
Before moving to Russia, Derk Sauer worked first as correspondent of such second rate TV companies as ‘Belfast’ and ‘Title Filme’, and then became editor of little-known journals, including ‘Twingtig’ and ‘Neiuwe Revu’ (The Netherlands). He came from the family with moderate means, so his sudden turning into a ‘media-tycoon’ poses question even today.
For instance, the Russian business journal ‘Kompaniya’, in the late 1990s, didn’t get tired of singing him praises: ‘Nobody else has brought to Russia so many renown Western brands as the head of the IM Derk Sauer and his company, 35% of which belong to the Dutch publishing group VNU, 10% to the bank ‘Menatep’ and 55% to six citizens of the Netherlands, with Derk Sauer, 46 years of age, being one of them’.
Mikhail Khodorkovsky, the owner of the bank ‘Menatep’ and oil company Yukos, also took part in financing of the Dutch media-tycoon. On the next day after the death of Derk Sauer, Mikhail Khodorkovsky wrote a warm-hearted obituary:
‘Yesterday died Derk Sauer – a significant person for Russia and Russian media. We were on speaking terms with each other – sometimes we were also business partners and competitors, we argued and came to consensus, publically and in private correspondence, but with unalterable respect for each other’s positions. 30 years. What he thought about me he told in ‘Citizen K’. Alas, you have to respond to it like that, in an obituary – he was a complicated person, but when such people go, life becomes poorer…’
As some were getting poorer, Derk Sauer, to the contrary, was getting only richer. It’s not by chance that his Publishing house was called ‘a vacuum cleaner’. ‘A pioneer character for Russia of publishing projects and approach itself to publishing activity (launching of licensed Western brands) enabled IM for a long period of time to spoon off cream of advertising fees. In publicity circles, IM is called ‘a well-designed vacuum cleaner’ to pump out money from advertisers’, wrote the journal ‘Kompaniya’ in 1999 about the offspring of Derk Sauer.
…In April 2022, the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology and Mass Media (Roskomnadzor) blocked the website of the publication ‘The Moscow Times’ because of publishing fakes about the course of the Special Military Operation (SVO). In November 2023, the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation included the publication into the Registry of ‘foreign agents’ and, in July 2024, the Office of the Prosecutor General declared ‘The Moscow Times’ undesirable organization.
A DUTCH HONGWEIBING AND ASSET OF WESTERN SECRET SERVICES
The website Prigovor.ru has decided to make its own picture about live activities of Derk Sauer, the owner of ‘The Moscow Times’ (time frame October 31, 1952, Amsterdam – July 31, 2025, Zeeland).
For that purpose, we have made use of various databases available in the DarkNet, or in the so-called ‘dark internet’. The received result surpassed our expectations. As it turned out, up from 1990s, in Moscow lived even two Dutch citizens with identical names and first names. They differed from each other only in their ages: the one was born in 1952, and the other in 1958; that is why let us call them Derk Sauer – 1952 and Derk Sauer – 1958 (the Russian letter ‘э’ in one of the names, evidently, can be explained by the choice of transliteration’).
The databases on Derk Sauer-1952 (to the left) and Derk Sauer-1958 (to the right)
On the screenshot to the left there are personal data about Derk Sauer born 1952, leaked from the electronic databases of the bank Alfa-bank (2023), football association FIFA (2018), from the Central database of tracking foreign citizens and persons without citizenship (TsBDUIG, 2019), as well as from reference cards of Moscow’s inhabitants (2014) and inhabitants of Russia (2023).
Here the date of birth is October 31, 1952 and that is a complete match with the official biography of the owner of the ‘Moscow Times’. Here are also present the passport particulars of the media-tycoon.
As to the screenshot to the left, it baffled us at the start – is it, perhaps, a mistake of an office worker?! In the Database of the Russian State Traffic Safety Inspectorate (GIBDD) of 2019 is itemized Derk Sauer, born October 12, 1958). It is hardly likely that an office worker had make two slips of pen at once in one birth date registry – both with regards to date and year. Furthermore, in two others independent databases – ‘Inhabitants of Russia’ and ‘Inhabitants of Moscow’ is mentioned the same ‘incorrect’ date of birth.
Yet, maybe, in fact, there was in Moscow another Derk Sauer junior? Still, we see his data in the electronic database of the newspaper ‘Vedomosti’, which, as is known, was founded Derk Sauer, born 1952. We also see that the Derk Sauer, born 1958, has an email address and a nickname in the Independent Media Sanoma Magazines.
We double-checked it using such old databases as ‘Traffic Safety Inspectorate Moscow’ and ‘Registration Moscow’ – in both of them there is the birth date of the ‘second’ Derk Sauer – October 12, 1958, in both of them as his ‘place of residence and registration’ is mentioned Moscow, Pravda Street, house No 24. This house is well known to all Moscow journalists, as previously it housed offices of leading newspapers of the USSR (‘Pravda’, Komsomolskaya Pravda’ and others), and now there is the government newspaper ‘Rossiyskaya Gazeta’.

The place of the strange registration of Derk Sauer of 1958, the editorial-publishing complex, Pravda Street, house 24
In another old database ‘Traffic incidents, Moscow’ we found information saying that Derk Sauer, born 1952, was involved in a traffic accident, he fled from the place of the road traffic accident, is registered in the Moscow Region, Odintsovo, Zhukovka 33.
From the database ‘Road traffic accidents’ (Moscow)
Derk Sauer, born 1952, with his wife and sons near his house in the township Zhukovka, Moscow Region
Another important thing is that Derk Sauer, born 1952, and Derk Sauer, born 1958, had different Taxpayer Identification Numbers. Derk Sauer, born 1952, hat INN 771595106905, and Derk Sauer, born 1958, was legalized with the INN 773800151350.
…Had Derk Sauer, born 1958, existed in reality, and not only in some documents and databases, (he was, after all, related to media business), all would have known about him in detail, as it is the case concerning such public person as Derk Sauer, born 1952, his wife and his sons.
So, the only right answer to the question where from emerged in Moscow an unidentified doppelganger of the Dutch media-tycoon can be the following: Maybe, this Derk Sauer, born 1958, was an agent cover for an employee of one of Western secret services? In the short dictionary of ‘agent-operative terms’ it is said: ‘An agent cover is a protective masking used with regard to people, organizations or objects in order to hide the fact of their covered activity or purposes, real goals, motives, financial sources and those who stand behind them’.
Most likely, Derk Sauer, born 1952, came to Russia having already documents for his ‘second personality’, i.e. for Derk Sauer, born 1958.
The former intelligence officer N.M., on condition of anonymity, told the website Prigovor.ru that Derk Sauer, at the beginning of 1980s, was enrolled by the Service of Internal Security of Holland (Binnenlandska Veiligheisdienst, BVD). In 2002, the BVD was merged with the Service of Foreign Intelligence (Inlichtingendienst Buitenland IDB) and formed the Service of General Intelligence and Security of Holland – Algemene Inlichtingen en Veiligeitsdienst, AIVD).
For more than 20 years, Derk Sauer was under surveillance of his native counter-intelligence service, as being 17 years of age, he entered the local communist party, to be more precise, its Maoist fraction. He himself several times admitted his former allegiance to the Maoists, and, as it often happens with radical leftists, he became disappointed in the ideology and, in the end, agreed to cooperate with ‘the hated secret police’.

SPY NEST – ‘THE MOSCOW TIMES’ NEWSPAPER
Spy scandals of the last years have shown that Derk Sauer turned the editorial office of ‘The Moscow Times’ in a kind of spy nest. So, a nestling of this nest was Evan Gershkovich (born 1991, New York, USA), a former employee of Derk Sauer and later reporter of ‘The Wall Street Journal’. In March 2023, Evan Gershkovich was arrested in Ekaterinburg on the charge of espionage, and it became the first case of arrest of an American journalist in Russia on such counts since 1986.
In July 2024, he was sentence to 16 years in a maximum-security labor camp, but, in a month, he was exchanged for Russian citizens held in Western prisons. It’s characteristic that, starting from 2017, Evan Gershkovich had been working as reporter at ‘The Moscow Times’.
In the beginning of August 2024, the TV channels REN and RT published footages of arrest and search of Evan Gershkovich. According to the RT, the apprehension was carried out by employees of the Federal Security Service FSB during a meeting of Evan Gershkovich with an ‘anonymous contact’ during which was openly discussed a handing over of secret information about the Russian Military-Industrial Complex. An audio recording was also made public of Evan Gershkovich’s conversation with an ‘informer’.
According to the FSB, Evan Gershkovich, on behest of the CIA, in March 2023, was collecting in Sverdlovsk Region secret information about activities of the defense enterprise JSC ‘NPK Uralvagonzavod’ which produces and repairs military hardware’ and he was doing so ‘following the strictest rules of conspiracy’ (It’s for similar cases that Western journalists need documents of asset cover).
Soon after the arrest of the American journalist, the internet outlet ‘Oktagon’ published an article entitled ‘The arrest of a journalist of WSJ – is a post-card for the media businessman Derk Sauer’ in which it was stated that ‘Evan Gershkovich is on friendly terms with Derk Sauer’s sons: they take rest together and engage in sports activities’. As a proof, Russian journalists put out screenshots from social media on which Evan Gershkovich together with Peter and Tom Sauer are playing hockey and relaxing in a Russian bath.

Overall, Derk Sauer, born 1952, has three sons: Peter, Tom and Berend. Peter worked as Moscow correspondent of the British newspaper ‘The Guardian’ (before that, with his father at ‘The Moscow Times’.
Tom was engaged in business in Russia connected with building of sports halls: JSC ‘Sport Plyus’, OJSC ‘Modern Sport Infrastructure’, OJSC ‘City Hockey’. The youngest son Berend is an ecological activist, and that is not all – he is also director of the Dutch HUP Foundation with a logo in the form of Ukrainian trident; the full name of this foundation is – Help Ukraine Personally.
A STRANGE ‘WOMAN’ CALLED DERK FROM ‘THE MOSCOW TIMES’
In 2022, after the begin of the Special Military Operation (SVO), Derk Sauer leaves Russia, most likely, for good, and goes back to his native town Amsterdam. During three decades, he and his doppelganger, with different Individual Taxpayer Numbers (INN) – No 771595106905 and No 773800151350 - , registered about a dozen of firms in Moscow working mostly in the field of mass media. Derk Sauer 1958 had the INN 773800151350, he owned three firms, in particular, the CJSC “IM Journals’; as of today, they are all liquidated.
Derk Sauer 1952 with the INN 771595106905 had several active even now companies, in particular, OJSC ‘MB Moscow Times’ and OJSC ‘Prime Press’. The electronic service ‘Kontur. Fokus’ has generated two schemes of business connections for both INN.
Firms belonging to Derk Sauer 1958 with the INN 773800151350 (on top) and to Derk Sauer 1952 with the INN 771595106905 (below)
The company ‘Moscow times’ is at present in a sleep mode, the latest financial report about the activities of this firm was made as far back as in 2021, yet, nevertheless, the owner, obviously, didn’t intend to liquidate it.
The website Prigovor.ru has found a peculiar detail in an extract from the United State Registry of Legal Entities (EGRUL), where, in black and white – moreover, twice! – is said that Derk Sauer, general director and founder of the OJSC ‘MB Moscow Times’ (Taxpayer No 771595106905), according to sexual identity, is a woman. One can assume that the Maoist, spy and media tycoon, father of three sons decided in his middle age to became a transgender, to change sex in order not to lag behind from the fashionable in the West LGBT agenda.

And in another firm, in the OJSC ‘PrimePress’, in which Derk Sauer owned one third of stocks, there are active entrepreneurial activities.
Founders of the OJSC ‘PrimePress’ and financial data of affiliated firms
General financial records of the OJSC ‘PrimePress’ and the firms connected with it are really impressive: according to the data from the electronic business card-catalogue ‘Kontur. Fokus’, in 2024 the earnings of these companies amounted to 8.3 billion rubles, and net income to 2 billion rubles. Overall, the number of organizations affiliated with the OJSC ‘PrimePress’ is 13. The catalogue ‘Kontur.Fokus’ generated a business scheme the center of which is still taken up by Derk Sauer’s firm.

ANTE MORTEM JOKE OF DERK SAUER. AARON AND BORUKH ARE GUISES OF SHUSHARIN AND INOZEMTSEV
…Let’s go back to the article ‘Confederation Muscovy: what will rest from Russia’, published in the prohibited in Russia publication ‘The Moscow Times’. As was said above, as its authors were mentioned an Aaron Lea and a Borukh Taskin, ‘specialist in legal aspects of cyber security’ and ‘independent financial analyst’, with their small photographs attached. We made use of the well-known program TinEye that identifies persons on the bases of their photos.
‘Aaron Lea’, ‘Borukh Taskin’, answers from TinEye
We present the whole answer of TinEyem, these texts are identical both for ‘Aaron Lea’ and ‘Borukh Taskin’: ‘0 matches. TinEye has looked through more than 76.3 billion of images, but has not found any matches with your search request. Evidently, this is connected with the fact that we have not yet scanned any page where this image emerges. TinEye has been constantly scanning, that is why you should repeat you request anytime soon’.
In other words, there is no ‘Aaron Lea’ and ‘Borukh Taskin’ anywhere on Earth, and their photographic portraits were created by neural networks. Apart from that, we found out that these names had appeared for the first time on the internet quite recently – in August 2024, on the prohibited in Russia website Kasparov.ru**.
Moreover, the website Progovor.ru has found out that behind these avatars of non-existing experts with Jewish names, most likely, are hiding real Russian relocants – namely, Dmitry Shusharin (born 1960) and Vladislav Ivozemtsev* (born 1968).
Dmitry Shusharin, a while back and for a short period of time, worked as a scientific employee at the Institute of General History of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He has a PhD in history, worked as an expert of the Foundation of effective politics of the late PR person Gleb Pavlovsky, as well as a commentator of the radio station ‘Mayak’. Nowadays he lives in Germany, in the town Frankfurt-on-Maine.
To the left Dmitry Shusharin with his wife and Vladislav Inozemtsev
Vladislav Inozemtsev has PhD in economics; in 2021, he campaigned for a boycott of the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. The Ministry of Justice has included him in the Registry of ‘foreign agents’. In January 2023 he addressed in Brussels the 5th session of the extremist organization of Russian separatists – ‘Free nations of post-Russia Forum’. He lives and works now in Washington, the capital of the United States.
Apparently, Dmitry Shusharin has something in Russia that he can lose – in 2002, he bought a 75 square meter apartment in a prerevolutionary house on Bakuninskaya Street in Moscow. Apart from that, in 2003, he bought another two apartments on Flotskaya Street in Moscow, 59 and 35 square meters. On the eve of emigration, Dmitry Shusharin lived in the Southwestern district of Moscow, on Tyeply Stan Street.
Cards of the three apartments belonging to Dmitry Shusharin
As to Vladislav Inozemtsev, he doesn’t possess even a ruble in Russia nowadays, not a single square meter. As early as in 2016, the Arbitration Court of the Moscow Region acknowledged Inozemtsev a bankrupt because of the debt to the amount of 598.6 million rubles. In the same year, his business partners from the town Armavir wrote a statement for the police in which they claimed that Inozemtsev had transferred money out and had stole 60 million rubles from the Moscow firm JSC ‘Temekh-1’.
Such fighters of the invisible front was engaged by the old provocateur Derk Saur in order in order, using yet another cover, to throw them in an attack against the Russian Federation.
About his activities, the website FLB.ru published in March 2024 a journalistic investigation entitled ‘Foreign agents have started to measure their budgets in tanks ‘Leopards’. In particular, it turned out that Derk Erik Sauer, among other things, is a director of the foundation with a strange name ‘Stichting 2 October’** (in May 2021, this foundation was included in the Registry of foreign mass media fulfilling functions of a foreign agent),
Apart from ‘The Moscow Times’, the foundation ‘Stichting 2 October’ is financing another two well-known foreign agents – ‘Meduza’** and the TV channel ‘Dozhd’**. According to the financial report of the foundation ‘Stichting 2 October’, writes the FLB.ru, ‘in 2021, the ‘knot of vipers’ received 696 thousand 613 euros, And in 2022, ‘Dozhd’, ‘Meduza’ and ‘The Moscow Times’ received from the foundation of Derk Sauer 2 691 415 euros. After beginning of the special Military Operation (SVO), financial reports Derk Sauer’s foundation has been made secret.
Several days before his death, the leader of the Liberal-Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR) stated that he would push for dismissal of Derk Saur, director of RBC. ‘For 25 years already this Sauer has been living in our country, said Vladimir Zhirinovsky,’ , so the question arises – why do you live in a foreign country? I couldn’t live even for five days in Holland. He has stuck, as a blain. He manages the company ‘RosBuisnessConsulting’ in such a way that this exerts a harmful influence…’
Nowadays, you sometimes are surprised by the sagacity of this flamboyant politician. How come that this preposterous or even absurd history became real: a tinpot freak from Holland, a radical leftist-Maoist, working for secret services, and a transsexual at that, suddenly becomes one of the most influential media-tycoons? In 1990s, Russia was, actually, an open and bleeding wound, and vast hordes of bloodsuckers from all over the world were flying in. Parasites were laying eggs in the sick flesh of the country and they were reckoning to be in clover on one sixth of the land surface. Yet the Special Military Operation started, provoked, by the way, by these same bloodsuckers, and the time of self-purification started. Then, such Derk Sauers, having declared a total war, started to dismember the once obedient body of Russia.
